SHIFT
VOLUNTEERS

Shift Volunteers serve in specific roles on a flexible schedule, typically coming in once a week for a few hours at a time. These roles support key areas of camp, such as boating or general site tasks, and are a great fit for those looking to get involved in a manageable, consistent way.

General Shift Team - Minimum Age: 14

Week-Long Volunteers are part of a dedicated team that serves on-site or during the day for a full week. They support the daily operations of camp through tasks like food service, cleaning, and site projects, while also experiencing the rhythms and community of camp life.

BOAT DRIVERS

As a Boat Driver, you will work closely with the Volunteer Team Lead to ensure the safe and smooth operation of our power tubing sessions. Your primary responsibility is to operate the boat and prioritize the safety of all participants, who typically range in age from 5 to 15. You’ll play a key role in creating a fun and positive experience for campers while maintaining a high standard of safety on the water.

This position requires a minimum age of 18.

GENERAL SHIFT VOLUNTEER

As a General Task Shift Volunteer, you will support the day-to-day operations of camp by assisting with a variety of tasks around the site. This may include helping with dishes, cleaning, maintenance projects, and other behind-the-scenes needs that keep camp running smoothly.

This role is a great fit for those who enjoy pitching in wherever needed and being part of the camp community in a flexible way. If you have specific skills or areas of interest, we are happy to explore opportunities to incorporate those into your volunteer experience.

WEEK-LONG VOLUNTEER
STAYING ON SITE

As an On-Site Week-Long Volunteer, you will be part of our Week-Long Volunteer Team, supporting the daily operations and overall camp experience. This includes tasks such as seaweed collection, dishwashing, meal service, site upkeep, and assisting with longer-term maintenance projects.

You will work closely with the Volunteer Team Lead and play an important role in creating a welcoming and well-run camp environment. As an on-site volunteer, you will stay at camp for the duration of the week and are expected to participate fully in the community experience, including attending evening activities such as fireside. You will also have opportunities to connect with other volunteers and take part in team activities throughout the week.

WEEK-LONG VOLUNTEER
STAYING OFF SITE

As an Off-Site Week-Long Volunteer, you will be part of our Week-Long Volunteer Team, supporting the daily operations and overall camp experience. This includes tasks such as seaweed collection, dishwashing, meal service, site upkeep, and assisting with longer-term maintenance projects.

You will work closely with the Volunteer Team Lead and contribute to creating a welcoming and well-run camp environment. Off-site volunteers serve during the day (approximately 9:00am–5:00pm) and return home in the evenings. This role is a great fit for families looking to serve together for a week or for adults who want to volunteer while their child is attending camp. You will also have opportunities to connect with the team and participate in select volunteer activities during your time on site.
