LEADERSHIP POSITIONS
(SEASONAL LEADERSHIP TEAM)
Reporting to the Year Round Team (YRT), our Seasonal Leadership Team (SLT) roles are the core team that prepares for summer camp and provides leadership to the staff and volunteers that make up our Summer Staff Team through July and August.
In addition to preparing for summer camp, the SLT supports Activity Day rentals for various schools throughout May and June. ​

PROGRAM & ADMIN POSITIONS
MEDIC(S)
The Medic ensures the health, safety, and well-being of campers, staff, and volunteers at Camp Chestermere. They oversee the administration of medications, first aid, and emergency care, maintaining detailed records and ensuring all medical procedures are followed accurately. In preparation for camp, Medics inventory supplies, familiarize themselves with emergency protocols, and check that first aid kits and AEDs are ready for use.
During camp, Medics manage medication intake, administer first aid, track camper and staff health medications, and remain on-call for emergencies both day and night (working as a team). This role requires strong attention to detail, advanced first aid or nursing training, calmness under pressure, and a compassionate, faith-driven approach to serving the camp community.
