B.E.A.R. stands for Buildings, Expansion, Arts, and Renovations. This is an extension of our 2016 HUG (Help Us Grow) campaign. Help Us Grow in our Buildings, our Expansion, our Arts, and in our Renovations. BEAR HUG has lots of cool new features and surprises in store. Hello everyone, What an incredible few weeks it has been at Camp Chestermere. I have absolutely no idea how it is the middle of March. This year has been flying by. I am almost ready for February to start but April is just around the corner. Can someone please slow the days/weeks/months/hours down just a little. It is crazy to think that in less than a month and a half the 2017 Seasonal Leaders will be here and then just a short 8 weeks later Staff Training Starts. WHAT?????? Hello everyone, So I know that I have not been as faithful with the weekly updates but have been sending out announcements about a number of things as they happen. I intend to send out a longer update in the next few days but in the mean time we would like to let you know about some exciting news. Thanks to another generous donation that came in yesterday, we have now officially completed our 2016 HUG Fundraiser. The goal was to raise $50 000 and as of this morning our official total for HUG is $51 235.94. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to everyone who donated to our HUG Campaign. Good morning everyone, It is with great excitement that we would like to announce the Seasonal Leadership Team of 2017. We had 29 applicants for 11 positions which is awesome and stressful at the exact same time. While we are very excited about the team we have hired, we had to make some difficult decisions and unfortunately had to say no to some very, very good candidates. But, here is the 2017 Seasonal Leadership Team. Overnight Team Lead: Bennett Dykstra (Wolf) Was on the 2015 and 2016 Seasonal Staff Team. He is currently attending Acadia University.
