CLTD Program
Youth enrolled in the program are expected to participate in serving the camp through chores such as dishes, serving and setting up for meals, and raking seaweed. These chores help to teach the CLTDs about humble Christian service, the importance of working as a team, and how service and maintenence around camp is a responsibility shared by all.
It's a year round program!
Our commitment to the growth and development of our CLTDs goes beyond the summer and continues throughout the school-year with weekend sessions at camp running the last weekend of October, November, January, and February (these retreats coincide with our school year camps for children).
Through these retreats we continue to build on the teaching that the participants learned in the summer; CLTDs will continue to serve the camp, build healthy relationships between participants and grow closer to God. We understand the demands on the busy lives of young people these days and attending these weekends allows them to take a deep breath and find restoration, encouragement and support that carries into their every day lives. (we ask that every attempt be made for CLTDs to attend as many weekends as possible).
