CLTD Program

About the CLTD Program

Our three year CLTD (Christian Leadership Training and Discipleship) program is the result of a passion to come alongside youth, challenging them to go deeper in their journey with Jesus Christ and to develop them as strong and confident leaders. In order to attain this, sessions are taught that offer an understanding of Christianity, the Bible and Spiritual Disciplines as well as different sessions in leadership and basic life skill such as coaching and modern etiquette. Participants in the program are expected to participate in serving the camp through chores such as dishes, serving and setting up for meals, and raking seaweed. Through these chores CLTD's learn about Christian service, teamwork and develop a healthy ownership for the camp.

It's a year round program!
Our commitment to the growth and development of our CLTD's goes beyond the summer. It continues throughout the school-year months with weekend retreats running the last weekend of October, November, January, and February (these retreats coincide with our school year camps for children). Through these retreats we continue to build on the teaching that the participants learned in the summer. It is time to continue to serve the camp, build healthy relationships between participants and grow closer to God. We understand the demands on the busy lives of young people these days and attending these weekends allows them to take a deep breath and find restoration, encouragement and support that carries into their every day lives. (we ask that every attempt be made for CLTD's to attend as many weekends as possible).
